Mr. Heinz Horrmann is the German Hotel Authority 2010

The international reknowned hotel journalist Heinz Horrmann has been announced as 'Hotel Authority 2010'. The prestigious award is given to him second time at a evening receiption for the 50 leading German hotel managers at the luxury Airport Club in Frankfurt, Germany. With this award, Mr. Horrmann has been honoured for nearly 30 years of publishing about the world's best luxury hotels. Amound the guests: Mr. Horst Schulze, President & CEO of the West Paces Hotels Group (Capella Hotels & Resorts). He announced him as an old friend and characterized him as a fair companion of the luxury hotel indstry and a publisher of prime importance.

In January 2010, Mr. Heinz Horrmann visited the high-end luxury cruise ship 'MS Europa' (Hapag Lloyd Cruises) during it's winter cruise in the South Sea. He met the famous singer Roberto Blanco. See more photos

My new TV show – the ‘Hotel Inspector’

My new TV show “Hotel Inspector” will air in April of 2009 on RTL. Several privately own hotels will be analyzed and the hotel management will be advised to turn the hotel around. My main focus will be the inspection of guest rooms, evaluating the breakfast buffet, the overall cleanliness of the hotel as well as the education and training of staff and management.

The goal of each episode is, to turn the hotels into lucrative and upscale service oriented properties that are easily recognized by all guests.
