Mr. Heinz Horrmann – born in 1943 near the Rhine river – is for more than 35 years knows as journalist and author of books not only in Germany. He published 33 books about hotels and resorts, travel destinations and gourmet topics. Since over 25 years he publishes in the leading German newspapers ‘Welt’, ‘Welt am Sonntag’ and ‘Berliner Morgenpost’.

Mr. Horrmann is the first and since today the exclusive awarded ‘Best Hotel Author worldwide’ with the the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (2001). In addition, he has been decorated with one of the highest medals of Germany, the ‘Bundesverdienstkreuz am Bande’. In 2005 he became the honour of the well-known Brillat Savarin Stiftung, an important foundation for the hotel and restaurant industry in Germany.

On CNN Mr. Horrmann has been announced as the ‘most esteemed hotel and censor worldwide’. For the Leading Hotels of the World, Inc. in the past and until today the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences Mr. Horrmann executes service tests in the top hotels and resorts worldwide.

He is engaged as member of the supervisory boards Medical Park AG (www.medicalpark.de) and the cosmetic supplier ADA Guest Supplies (www.ada-online.de).
